UNIFIED CYPRUS GROUP (UCG)
The organisation (UCG) of a programme of civil society events that aim to raise the awareness of Cypriots, especially targeting Turkish-speaking Cypriots from all generations and backgrounds. Emphasis will be placed on women, youth and students, whilst harnessing the wealth of social input that is possessed by senior citizens in the context of recording traditional Cypriot common life and common roots and its relevance to civil society.

Mission

To enable Cypriots to reflect on “who are the Cypriots” within the context of history and culture and to enjoy the freedom to express Cypriot and European identity. To promote Equality of Opportunity and exercise zero tolerance of all types of discrimination including racism, sexism, ageism, and also any practices that discriminate against people with special needs, or people of a different sexual orientation or against peoples’ language, culture, beliefs, values or religion. We are committed to the preservation of the human species and the planet and will also engage a range of activities supporting the ecology and environment.
